A couple of weeks ago christian called me and asked me out on a "hot date." He told me that we would be going to a fancy restaraunt and that he would be wearing a suit. I took a christmas gift card and bought myself a new outfit for our big date. He let me know that he had been doing extra chores around the house for Tara to earn the money to take me. He said that he would have his money in his wallet so he would look like an adult. He wouldn't tell me where we were going. So for 2 weeks I have been anxiously awaiting my Valentine's date with my son. I went and picked him up at 5:00 pm. I had bought him a red rose boutineer, which he proudly wore. He had a heart shaped tin of my favorite Lindt chocolates and a map and directions from map quest as to how to get to this mysterious restaraunt. I didn't know where we were going until i pulled into the parking lot. It was Corbin's. I had heard of Corbin's but had never seen it.
He opened the doors for me and even let the hostess know that he had made dinner reservations for 2 under the name of Warren for 5:30. We were seated next to the wall of water. We both ordered the Blackened Chicken Tortilini and shared a Molton Brownie Cake with Whip Cream and Ice Cream. The food was fabulous as was the company. I didn't want the night to end but it did anyway. I told him that I would never forget this and he said, "I'll never forget it either Mom." I love all my children so much and hope they all felt a little extra loved on this valentine's day. I love you guys! And thank you to Tara for helping Christian put this together for me. I miss him so much and it was really special that she would do this for the both of us.
